Authenticity vs. Integrity (and Episode 2!)
Aug 20, 2025
These days, it seems like the healing world is obsessed with “being your authentic self.”
And sure, authenticity matters. But here’s the problem: my “authentic self” changes hourly.
This morning I was authentically tired. Yesterday authentically caffeinated. By tonight? Probably authentically annoyed.
Authenticity moves with my moods.
Integrity is different.
Integrity is who I choose to be, what I stand for, the values I align with, no matter how I feel in the moment. It’s about coming back to my essence. And our essence is that unchanging thread that ties together our gifts, our mission, our purpose. It’s the through line that makes sense of it all.
Which is why I'm so excited to bring you Episode 2 of the Vessel Mini Series.
This time I sat down with Serele Katz, a student who almost wouldn’t have been here at all, if not for her fierce commitment to a year of saying “yes” and following the inner call.
She almost ran away when Azamra got too woo-woo for her (I can still see her face in that moment lol!). And now she’s one of the most grounded, wonder-filled voices I know.
Fun fact I didn't know about Serele before we did the interview: she used to sell high-end designer clothes. My hoodie-wearing self has no idea what to do with this information. And yet… once you see the way she looks at the world, it makes perfect sense that coaching and breathwork were always going be the next step for her.
You want to see through Serele-colored glasses. Because the first thing she’ll teach you is how to see through your own again, new, unfiltered, and alive with curiosity.
The Vessel mini-series is also available on standard streaming apps here.
I’m still amazed at how many of you loved Episode 1 with Tzvi Levitin. What started as a fun little side project is landing in ways I never dreamed, and I can’t wait for you to experience more.
And here’s something I’m really excited about: Vessel is opening for pre-registration soon. For just a few days, I’ll be offering a very generous early bird discount. If you know you’re in, you’ll definitely want to catch the cart when it opens in September.
And if you know a friend who could use Vessel? Forward this email and episode their way. Vessel is open to both men and women who answer to a higher calling and want to walk their life’s path with courage, intention, and heart.
And one more thing! Instead of doing normal Mommy stuff last night, I got lost in the rabbit hole of redoing the Vessel landing page on my site. Your feedback gave me new eyes on my own work, and I’d love for you to check it out.
With integrity (and yes, probably caffeine),
