When Ducks Turn to Dominoes (& Podcast Release!)

human podcast self love vessel Aug 13, 2025

You probably know by now that I’m the kind of person who likes to have her ducks in a row.
All figured out.
Organized.
Structured.

The last few months have felt… not like that.
More like a line of dominoes that keep toppling over.

Case in point: the day I was negotiating the return of my lease, my car got smashed in a hit-and-run while it was legally parked. Because apparently it's my turn to ride this wave.

And just last night, I got treated to a nice bit of gossip floating around, to the tune of “How is it that Fally, the ‘famous facilitator’ who helps everyone else can’t figure out her own life?”

I have to assume that the people busy with that kind of talk have never read any of these emails or had an actual conversation with me. (Which, to be fair, is hard to do. I’m an introvert and fiercely protect my personal space and privacy.)

But the people who do know me?
They know one thing: I’m not perfect. I’ve never claimed to be. I don’t have it figured out. I probably won’t ever.

I value showing up. Trying again. Breathing through the hard days....Not pretending I don't have any.

And honestly… who needs the pressure of getting it right all the time?

Which brings me to something I am excited about, the release of the very first episode in an eight-part series featuring Vessel alumni.

Each episode is an interview focused on one module of the course, highlighting an alumnus who beautifully captures the essence of that theme. A common thread in every conversation? At some point, every single one of them said, “I’m a mess. I do not have this figured out at all.”

They get it. They struggle. And they still show up.
Because isn’t that the point? Aren’t these the leaders we need? The ones who give us permission to be human?

Today’s episode features Tzvi Levitin of Montreal.

Tzvi and his wife have done Vessel (and Ignite) twice, and they’re about to dive in for the third time.

When I asked Tzvi to join this series, he immediately volunteered for Module 1: Self Love.

You’ll hear why when you listen.

And — bonus — at the end of each episode, you’ll hear a snippet from a live Q&A call I did with Vessel alumni last week. Q&As are my favorite part of the course, and I wanted you to experience the magic in all its unedited glory.

Vessel registration opens in September. I hope you’ll consider being part of what makes this community so incredible.

Because the thing is, whether your ducks are marching in perfect formation or your dominoes are a chaotic mess across the kitchen floor, you still deserve to be loved for your human.
Maybe especially then.

Take a listen to Tzvi on SpotifyYouTube, and Apple (coming soon!)

- In this episode, at 22 minutes in, I'm talking about my bout with Thyroid cancer a few years back. This episode was recorded and few weeks ago, and it's only as it airs that I realize today marks three years in remission from that time.

Taking a moment to celebrate and thank Hashem for my health, wellbeing, the open miracles and ordinary moments.

- If you loved this episode, there are seven more coming! Stay tuned for another one dropping in just a few days!

- And if you don't mind - would you give the episodes a thumbs up on your chosen platform and refer it to friends? I don't know how to play the algorithm game, but apparently this is a thing.
