Where There's a Will (Episode 7)

manifestation podcast seeds vessel Sep 28, 2025

I'm never really sure how to feel in these days between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.

It’s the season where we’re asked to look at our lives honestly, to whisper to Hashem: Who have I been? Who am I becoming? And also to ask: Whose will am I really living, mine, or Yours?

This new episode of the Vessel Podcast couldn’t come at a better time. Episode 7 is all about manifestation. And while the word itself has become a buzzword denoting vision boards, dream houses, “make the Universe give me what I want," that’s not what we’re talking about here.

Manifestation is not about bending the world to your will. It’s about opening ourselves to the Higher Will that already desires our best life, our wholeness, our wellbeing.

I once heard it said like this:

  • When Hashem says to us, “Your will is My will,” that’s a version of hell.

  • When we say to Hashem, “Your will is My will,” that’s a version of heaven.

Both can feel true. Only one is The truth.

And this is why I invited Yosi and Vivian Michaan from Panama to join me for this episode. They don’t just “talk” alignment. They live it. They are the most embodied, joy-filled example of surrender I’ve ever seen.

When we recorded together, Vivian shared the most amazing story of how her manifesting of a "seed" in Vessel was actually the smallest moment in a much larger vision Hashem had for her and her family.

Since then, the Michaans have welcomed a healthy, beautiful baby boy named Eliyahu Eliezer

Names that literally translate to "Hashem is my G-d; Hashem is my Help"

Tell me that’s not the most perfect echo of the message we’re holding here: life is fullest when we let ourselves be carried by Him and in alignment with His Will.

Vessel isn’t just about ideas. It’s about people. About tribe. About those serendipitous, “of course this would happen in Vessel” connections that keep us seeing Hashem's hand in the smallest of details.

Rachel Fraida, a Vessel alumni and super talented artist, put Vivian's "manifestation seed" to canvas. It isn't just a picture of Vivian's hand holding her seed. To me it's Hashem's hand, guiding even the smallest life forms, the initial sparks of every idea into being.

After Vivian’s manifestation painting was finished, she and Rachel Fraida had a chance to meet in person. (Classic Vessel moment.) Afterward, Rachel Fraida told me she wanted a hoodie that said:

“All the cool people I know, I met through Fally.”

I think what she really meant was Vessel. We meet the coolest people in the spaces like these. Spaces where we learn to make space within ourselves.

Because that’s what happens in Vessel. We don’t just learn. We don’t just grow. We find our people. The ones who remind us we're not crazy for wanting more. The ones who see our light when we’ve forgotten it. The ones who make us laugh, cry, belong.

Vessel registration re-opens right after Sukkos. From October 19-24 you'll have the opportunity to begin planting seeds. One year from today, you'll be amazed at how you'll have grown.

A small, but significant note:

It’s easy to listen to these episodes and project onto the people and couples featured.

To think: Wow, they’re amazing. They must never fight. They must never cry. If I had what they had, then my life would be perfect.

But here’s the truth they’d be the first ones to tell you: they cry when no one’s looking. They wonder if they’re failing as parents. They struggle in their marriages. They get it wrong all the time.

Their magic isn’t in perfection. It’s in their willingness to see past ego illusions and have the hard, accountable conversations, with themselves, with each other, with Hashem.

The thing they'd want you all to know is that you’re already perfect. Everything you need is already inside you. Vessel just gives you the space, and the courage, to look within, to see past the shame, and to believe in yourself.

You already belong.
